It's an Inside Job - Book Launch

Join authors Tracy Arnold, Helen Barnard, and Diane Hubbard for an evening filled with profound insights and genuine connections as we delve into the heart of personal growth and self-discovery. Through poignant narratives and thought-provoking reflections, “It's an Inside Job: The Friends Guide to the Seven Dimensions of Wellness” simplifies the complexities of what makes us human and distills them into practical strategies for holistic wellness.

Life is a multifaceted adventure filled with many different experiences, emotions, and challenges. Navigating this journey without a framework for wellness can be overwhelming. That's where "It's an Inside Job: The Friends Guide to the 7 Dimensions of Wellness" comes in. This guide, coupled with its journal counterpart, offers a transformative lens on life, prompting exploration of the seven facets of self. Through this holistic framework, readers can craft a roadmap toward a more harmonious and enriching life.

The universe first united the authors to create a curriculum-based wellness book for a non-profit. Working together taught them the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for authentic expression and fruitful partnerships; the same concepts are needed to create harmony in every aspect of life.

Tracy

Tracy Arnold sees life as one big experiment. She embraces each day with an open mind and an appetite for growth and discovery. Her determination to overcome a chronic illness sparked an insatiable curiosity about what prevents and promotes the body’s natural healing processes. Tracy is adept in holistic wellness, with a gift for empowering others to believe anything is possible. Arnold’s approach is multidimensional, going beyond physical health to cover wellness concepts across all facets of life. She is a co-founder of Seven Dimensions of Wellness, an author, a certified yoga instructor, and an Institute for Integrative Nutrition certified health and wellness coach.

Helen

Helen Barnard’s world changed dramatically when she began to see herself through a more compassionate lens. After using her creative talents for 25 years in NYC’s magazine industry, Helen bought a farmhouse in CT and returned to school to earn her master’s degree in counseling. Using her own developmental experiences as inspiration to help others, she traded her artistic talents and impressive print skills to make the world a better place. Helen, a co-founder of Seven Dimensions of Wellness, is skilled in somatic experiencing and approaches therapy from a body-centered perspective. Her capacity for genuine connection enables others to embrace the whole of who they are.

Diane

Diane Hubbard considers any challenge life throws at her as an opportunity to dig deeper. She is an author, a co-founder of Seven Dimensions of Wellness, and a lifelong learner always looking to discover more. Diane worked in the financial services industry for 26 years, leading, learning, and growing. Her desire to make a difference in the world led her to work in the non-profit sector, where she spent over ten years demonstrating how to harness passion to effectively deliver on missions. She currently works as a consultant for organizations wanting to make a positive impact, assisting them in executing change and determining what matters. Like Charlie Puth’s song, “One Call Away,” Superman has nothing on Diane. She is a defender and protector who inspires others to realize they are stronger than they think.

Book reviews:

“I love this book! The stories are contrasting, real, imperfect, and messy— no spiritual bypassing here! While it’s clear that it’s an inside job, the message is compassionate and gentle. Beautiful in every way, the author’s relationship demonstrates how they embody the change they want to see in the world.” — Lorna Davis, Passionate leader, coach, and speaker who helps leaders to live and lead with love. Her TED talk on collaborative leadership has been viewed over 2 million times.

“Each dimension is thoughtfully written, and the authors’ willingness to share their personal journeys brings authenticity as well as hope to others. This book can help us all shine our light as brightly and beautifully as possible for all the world to see.” — Sarah Leathers, Co-founder & President, Healing Meals Community Project
